Miniature Grand Canyon

One interesting landmark we’ve seen today was in Twin Falls, Idaho – a large, beautiful canyon with the Snake River running through it. Interestingly enough, there was a golf course inside the canyon. In a portion of the canyon, there were different layers and the greens were located on one large layer that hadn’t yet recessed all the way down to the river. One hole was right on the edge of the cliff, so a long shot would have sent the ball into the depths below. Four!
I am going to try to be better about taking picture while driving, because we aren’t making any unnecessary pit stops. I keep catching myself thinking “We’ll stop on our way back” but of course, if we are lucky we won’t have to make another cross country drive like this!
